Baseball Recap: Pendleton County Takes a Loss

Pendleton County lost to Keyser back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcat fell 7-4 to the Golden Tornado. The Wildcat have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pendleton County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Simon, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double.

Pendleton County's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Keyser, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-12.

Coming up, Pendleton County will face off against Petersburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Keyser, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Fort Hill at 4:30 p.m. The Golden Tornado's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sentinels have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
