Soccer Game Preview: Woodberry Forest vs. Norfolk Academy

The Woodberry Forest Tigers will square off against the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Woodberry Forest is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against St. Anne's-Belfield on Friday. The Tigers and the Saints finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Norfolk Academy faced Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bulldogs played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against the Crusaders. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Norfolk Academy have been dealt a draw since back in August.

Norfolk Academy's draw gives them a new season record of 4-1-2. As for Woodberry Forest, they moved theirs to 5-3-1.
