Basketball Recap: Elmwood-Murdock Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Elmwood-Murdock unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They received a blow on Thursday as they fell 60-42 to the Yutan Chieftains. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Chieftains recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Elmwood-Murdock will challenge Lincoln Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Yutan, they will venture away from home to challenge Arlington on Tuesday.
