Baseball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

Anderson managed to slip by Portola the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Anderson Cubs came up short against the Portola Tigers on Friday, falling 14-0. The Cubs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Portola, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Anderson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 defeat against Los Molinos on the 8th. As for Portola, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Loyalton on the 8th.
