Basketball Game Preview: Polytechnic Panthers vs. Carpinteria Warriors

The Polytechnic Panthers will head out to square off against the Carpinteria Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Polytechnic saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell to Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica 48-42. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carpinteria). They put the hurt on Palmdale with a sharp 80-56 win on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.

Carpinteria's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Polytechnic, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
