The Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs will take on the Leon Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Leon will be up against a hot Corrigan-Camden team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Bulldogs put the hurt on Normangee with a sharp 26-6 win on Friday.

Corrigan-Camden can attribute much of their success to Derrick Reagie, who rushed for 216 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry, and William Ratliff, who rushed for 161 yards and one score while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. The Bulldogs are 4-1 when Reagie posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Corrigan-Camden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 444 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Normangee only rushed for 78.
Meanwhile, Leon got themselves on the board against Hearne on Friday, but Hearne never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles, posting a 41-0 victory.
Leon's win came from a few key players Corrigan-Camden will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Parker Thomas, who rushed for 55 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries. Another player making a difference was Cooper Stevens, who gained 79 total yards.
Leon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cullen Vestal and Wyatt Moore.
Corrigan-Camden's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Leon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Corrigan-Camden has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 422.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Leon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 252.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Corrigan-Camden against Leon in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 33-0 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
