Baseball Recap: Johnson Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Johnson let Clark stack five runs on them in the third inning on Friday but luckily Johnson prevailed anyway. The Jaguars walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Cougars. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Johnson's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-10. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Clark, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

Johnson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clark, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Steele on the 26th.
