Bear Grass Charter has gone a perfect 10-0 against Cape Hatteras recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hurricanes at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bear Grass Charter's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over Ocracoke. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Meanwhile, Cape Hatteras had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lakers as they made off with a 9-1 win.

McCoy James was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. Cape Hatteras is undefeated when James posts two or more runs, but 2-5 otherwise.

Bear Grass Charter pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cape Hatteras, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Everything went Bear Grass Charter's way against Cape Hatteras in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Bear Grass Charter made off with a 15-2 win. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Hurricanes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
