Softball Game Preview: Brady Bulldogs vs. Llano Yellowjackets

For the second straight game, Brady will face off against Llano. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. Brady has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 27.

Brady came up short against Llano on Monday, falling 14-3.

For Llano's part, Jayme Duroy made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Duroy was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Emilie Clopton was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Another player making a difference was Emmaryee Roberson, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

Llano was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are 7-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Brady's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Llano, their win bumped their record up to 9-16.
