Volleyball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry lost against Veterans back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Warhawks. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Grace Lamontagne, who had six digs and two aces.

Perry has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Veterans, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Veterans didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Peach County on the 16th. Hopefully Perry paid attention to the Warhawks' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Warhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
