Volleyball Game Preview: Wagner Red Raiders vs. Parkston Trojans

After both having extra time off, the Wagner Red Raiders and the Parkston Trojans will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wagner will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Wagner got the win against Scotland by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wagner was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-15, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Parkston was able to grind out a solid win over Platte/Geddes on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Black Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 22-25, 25-17.

Wagner's record now sits at 17-5. As for Parkston, their record is now 21-5.

Wagner skirted past Parkston 2-1 in their previous matchup back in August. Will the Red Raiders repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
