Basketball Recap: Montcalm Takes a Loss

Montcalm and River View squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Montcalm had to settle for second. They were dealt a 59-16 loss at the hands of the River View Raiders. The Generals haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Montcalm's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for River View, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: River View beat Montcalm by a score of 59-16 on Friday.
