California was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to third in Del Rio. The Condors defeated Montebello 24-13 earlier in the week.

Whittier scaled the state rankings by moving to 463 from 541 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cardinals climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Azusa 31-12.

La Serna's dynamic duo of Frankie Palmer and Matthew Rosales proved to be unstoppable against Los Osos, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Palmer threw for 247 yards and Rosales had 159 yards receiving. Ruben Rios helped La Serna's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 41 yards.

The Lancers' dynamic duo of Palmer and Rosales proved tough for the Grizzlies to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Rosales was the best receiver in the league this week as La Serna lost to Los Osos.

Palmer put up the best numbers through the air as Margarito Beltran's team fell to Kevin Price's team.

AARON ESCARENO was the most successful running back in Del Rio this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 80 yards as El Rancho lost to the Grizzlies. Teammate RYAN ARAUJO added to the ground attack by rushing for 12 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, La Serna's Palmer and Rosales have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Palmer has thrown for 421 yards this season, while Rosales has 9 catches for 221 yards. Eddie Orta from Whittier leads the league in rushing with 166 yards.

The Dons lost to Diamond Ranch 42-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. ARAUJO threw for 172 yards and caught 1 passes for 13 yards in the defeat.
