Okeene extended the longest winning streak in A District 1 this week by beating Beaver, 49-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Whippets.
Okeene took down the Dusters 49-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Scott Dobrinski threw for 176 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 91 yards in the win.
Jeff Wardlaw's team's dynamic duo of Dobrinski and Brexton Smith proved to be unstoppable against Beaver, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Mike Dobrinski helped Okeene's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 51 yards.
Fairview's Brett Fast and Jensen Smith have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Fast has thrown for 811 yards this season, while Smith has 32 catches for 347 yards. The Whippets' Dobrinski leads the league in rushing yards with 1,007.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Okeene takes on Texhoma. At the moment, the Whippets are in first, while the Red Devils are in fourth.
