Leuzinger hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
Leuzinger's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Lawndale, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Leuzinger beat the Cardinals by a score of 19-5 on Thursday.
