Volleyball Recap: Midway Takes a Loss

Midway lost against Butler on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears.

Madi Mcclellan paced Midway's offense, picking up five kills. Mcclellan got some help from Ella Lyon and her 12 assists. Finally, Mcclellan was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-3. As for Butler, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 20-1-1 record this season.

Midway will head out to square off against Archie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Butler, they will welcome El Dorado Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
