The matchup between Grand Blanc and Romeo on Friday hardly resembled the 14-13 effort from their previous meeting. The Bobcats secured a 40-36 W over the Bulldogs. The Bobcats' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grand Blanc to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jake Morrow, who threw for 385 yards and three TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards. That's the most passing yards Morrow has posted since back in October of 2024. Another rusher making a difference was Jeremiah Coleman, who gained 126 total yards.

Grand Blanc didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aelijah Wells and Micah Bell.

Despite the loss, Romeo still got an impressive performance from Brody Meier, who picked up 116 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Meier also put up two receiving touchdowns, which were his first of the season. Sammy Nepa was another key player, throwing for 227 yards and two TDs.

Grand Blanc's record is now 9-0. As for Romeo, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

As of now, neither Grand Blanc nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
