Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

The Franklin Warriors came up short against Pope John XXIII on Saturday and fell 6-3.

Franklin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was P Perez, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Franklin now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pope John XXIII, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Franklin will square off against Bound Brook at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pope John XXIII, they will take on Randolph at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
