Softball Recap: Bridge City Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Bridge City entered their tilt with Jasper on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Jasper Bulldogs as they made off with a 12-1 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Bridge City's victory bumped their record up to 10-7-1. As for Jasper, they dropped their record down to 3-8-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Bridge City Cardinals duke it out with Crosby Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jasper, they will square off against Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Little Cypress-Mauriceville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Jasper's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
