Basketball Recap: Firestone Takes a Loss

Firestone played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. 2025 welcomed they with a 54-28 loss courtesy of the Woodridge Bulldogs. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Firestone still got an impressive performance from Kennedy Whiting, who posted 17 points.

Firestone's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Woodridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Firestone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-11 victory against North on the 9th. Woodridge has also already played their next contest, a 47-40 defeat against Springfield on the 10th.
