Soccer Recap: Gateway Triumphs

Gateway kept a clean sheet against Aubrey Rogers on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Aubrey Rogers Patriots, sneaking past 1-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Gateway has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4-3 record this season. As for Aubrey Rogers, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gateway will venture away from home to square off against Mariner at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aubrey Rogers, they are taking a road trip to challenge Evangelical Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 10th.
