Soccer Game Preview: Las Lomas vs. Mt. Diablo

The Las Lomas Knights will square off against the Mt. Diablo Red Devils at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Las Lomas will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Las Lomas' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Northgate. Give Las Lomas' defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Meanwhile, neither Mt. Diablo nor Campolindo could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. That draw made it three straight for Mt. Diablo.

Mt. Diablo's draw gives them a new season record of 5-3-3. As for Las Lomas, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Everything went Las Lomas' way against Mt. Diablo in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, as Las Lomas made off with a 4-0 win. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
