The De Pere Redbirds will head out to take on the Pulaski Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. De Pere is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Pulaski will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: De Pere extended their winning streak to three on Saturday. The Redbirds never let Ashwaubenon get on the board and left with a 4-0 win.

The result came thanks to Cullen Pennings's shutout, as he gave up just two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan Wettstein, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Isaac Poehlman, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Pulaski beat Green Bay Preble 7-3 on Saturday.

Pulaski's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Braun Wotruba, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run. Hunter Money also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

De Pere's record now sits at 13-2. As for Pulaski, their record is now 11-6.

De Pere came out on top in a nail-biter against Pulaski when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redbirds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
