Dillon won the last time they faced Marlboro County and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats took down the Bulldogs 20-6. The 20-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Dillon pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.7 points on average over those games. As for Marlboro County, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dillon is set to face off against their familiar foe Waccamaw at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Marlboro County will take on rival Loris at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 11.5, the Lions 11.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
