Softball Preview: Harbor Pirates vs. Aptos Mariners

Harbor is 0-10 against Aptos since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Harbor Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Aptos Mariners at 4:30 p.m.

Harbor is is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Thursday. They lost 9-1 to San Lorenzo Valley.

Harbor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juliet Ray, who went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.

Meanwhile, Aptos stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They never let Santa Cruz onto the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Aptos.

Aptos got a massive performance out of Emma Burgueno, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Lanies Nunez was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Harbor's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Aptos, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6.
