It was a good run, but Corbin unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Madison Southern Eagles by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Corbin of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Corbin's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Madison Southern, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
