Soccer Recap: Cocke County Takes a Loss

The matchup between Cocke County and Jefferson County on Friday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Cocke County Fighting Cocks fell 6-4 to the Jefferson County Patriots. The defeat continues a trend for the Fighting Cocks in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost four in a row.

Cocke County's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Jefferson County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Looking ahead, Cocke County will head out to take on Gatlinburg-Pittman at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson County, they will square off against Kirkwood at 8:30 p.m. on March 21st.
