Baseball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Temecula Prep hit Hamilton with a four-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bobcats lost 11-1 to the Patriots. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Hamilton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seth Aanestad, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Temecula Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Coincidentally, Hamilton and Temecula Prep will both be playing San Jacinto Valley Academy the next time they take the field. The Bobcats will host the Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 3:40 p.m. on Friday.
