Basketball Recap: Brewster Comes Up Short

Brewster was the 51-47 winner over Arlington when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Brewster Bears lost 64-43 to the Arlington Admirals on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 557th, while the Admirals are ranked 189th).

Brewster's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Carmel the next time they take the court. Arlington will host Carmel at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Brewster will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
