Basketball Recap: Glen Iris Baptist Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Glen Iris Baptist won the last time they faced Chilton Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Glen Iris Baptist Swordsmen were the clear victor by a 58-35 margin over the Chilton Christian Academy Patriots. The Swordsmen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glen Iris Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joshua Everett, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 22 points. Everett has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Elliot Dickey was another key player, putting up 18 points and six rebounds.

Glen Iris Baptist's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Chilton Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Glen Iris Baptist will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Pleasant Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. As for Chilton Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Tuscaloosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
