Baseball Recap: Canyon Comanches vs. University Trojans
Canyon's hitters rose to the challenge against a Trojans pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.57 runs allowed on Tuesday. The Comanches blew past the University Trojans 10-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comanches.

Cooper Stevenson looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, James Allen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Camden Goetz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Canyon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as University only posted a batting average of .200.
Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for University, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon will welcome Pacifica at 3:15 p.m. on the 9th. As for University, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Portola at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
