Springfield is 8-1 against Las Animas since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Longhorns will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Springfield 15, Las Animas 14.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Springfield's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Las Animas, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Springfield has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 242.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Las Animas struggles in that department as they've been averaging 215.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
