Sabine might have lost, but man, Hudson Mcnatt was a machine: he rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 56 yards and a touchdown. Mcnatt really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sabine, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Friday's match might be decided in the on the ground. Jefferson has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 274.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Sabine struggles in that department as they've been averaging 160.1. It's looking like Friday's contest might have some serious battles in the trenches.
