Sabine might have lost, but man, Hudson Mcnatt was a machine: he rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 56 yards and a touchdown. Mcnatt really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.
Jefferson pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sabine, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Friday's match might be decided in the on the ground. Jefferson has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 274.1 rushing yards per game.
