Soccer Recap: Newaygo Comes Up Short

Newaygo managed to slip by Ravenna the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 4-0 to the Bulldogs on Friday. Newaygo were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ravenna apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Newaygo has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Ravenna, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

When Newaygo and Ravenna next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Lions will challenge Big Rapids and their four-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ravenna will try to stop Hart's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
