Soccer Recap: Tallassee Comes Up Short

Tallassee managed to keep up with Wetumpka until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tallassee Tigers came up short against the Wetumpka Indians, falling 5-2. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Tallassee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Wetumpka, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5-1 record this season.

Tallassee will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on LAMP at 5:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for Wetumpka, they will be taking part in a tournament against Fort Payne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
