Softball Recap: Franklin Learning Center Comes Up Short

Franklin Learning Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 17-7 to the South Philadelphia Rams. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2015.

Franklin Learning Center's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Philadelphia, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Franklin Learning Center and Samuel Fels will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:15 p.m. on the 23rd. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.2 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for South Philadelphia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against TECH Freire Charter at 3:15 p.m. on the 23rd.
