After a string of five wins, Regina Dominican's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Dundee-Crown Chargers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Regina Dominican was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20.

Dundee-Crown was led to victory by Maura Minogue and Tamia Ford. Minogue had 12 digs and two assists, while Ford had five digs. That's the most digs Ford has posted over her last eight matches.

Regina Dominican's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Dundee-Crown, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-16.
