Basketball Recap: Buffalo Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Buffalo lost against Mexia back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buffalo Bison lost to the Mexia Black Cats at home by a 45-26 margin. The Bison were down 35-11 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Buffalo's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-8. As for Mexia, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Buffalo will square off against Elkhart at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mexia, they will take on Groesbeck at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mexia is facing Groesbeck at the right time seeing as Groesbeck is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
