Basketball Recap: Lawrence Takes a Loss

Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against Prospect Hill Academy, falling 75-36. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while Prospect Hill Academy are ranked 58th).

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Prospect Hill Academy, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Coming up, Lawrence will challenge Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Prospect Hill Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
