Kimball's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charles McCuin, who rushed for 140 yards and three scores on only ten carries. McCuin is becoming a predictor of the Knights' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 6-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Javion Broussard did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 131 receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Kimball was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
Kimball's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Quintraylon Johnson was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself. He has been hot recently, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last four times he's played.
Kimball pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.3 points on average over those games. As for North Dallas, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
As of now, neither Kimball nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
