Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Treasure Coast). Everything went their way against the Santaluces Chiefs on Wednesday as Treasure Coast made off with a 16-4 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Colin Jackson looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Treasure Coast is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-8 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Thomas Johnson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacob Sanchez, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Treasure Coast always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The win got Treasure Coast back to even at 8-8. As for Santaluces, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Treasure Coast will challenge Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Santaluces, they will take on Leonard at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Leonard has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.83 runs per game on average), something Santaluces will no doubt try to take advantage of.
