Morehead won the last time they faced Walkertown and things went their way on Thursday too. The Morehead Panthers walked away with a 51-38 victory over the Walkertown Wolfpack.

Morehead was led to victory by Anahi Morales and Destiny Minter. Morales dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds, while Minter posted 18 points and eight boards. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which Minter has scored at least a third of Morehead's points.

Morehead's win bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Walkertown, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morehead will challenge McMichael at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Walkertown, they will face off against North Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Forsyth will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Walkertown surely won't give up without a fight.
