Volleyball Recap: Academy for Innovative Education Comes Up Short

Academy for Innovative Education lost against Franklin Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Aviators lost 3-0 to the Panthers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-19, 25-12.

Cefora Martinez had a dynamite game For Franklin Academy., getting eight aces and seven digs. Those eight aces gave Martinez a new career-high.

Academy for Innovative Education dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Franklin Academy, their record is now 8-3.

Academy for Innovative Education wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Avant Garde Academy on the 1st. As for Franklin Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Flanagan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
