Softball Recap: Hesperia Scorpions vs. Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle

Hesperia's tournament run continued when they took on Academy of Careers & Exploration on Wednesday. The Hesperia Scorpions took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Malena Griego put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She also allowed six hits, marking her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
