Volleyball Recap: Quinter's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It was a good run, but Quinter unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the South Gray Rebels by a score of 2-1.

Quinter started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Quinter still got an impressive performance from Kendyl Johnson, who had 24 assists and ten digs. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 24 games she's played.

Quinter's defeat dropped their record down to 27-11. As for South Gray, they pushed their record up to 36-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Quinter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Spearville on the 30th. As for South Gray, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Greeley County on the 30th.
