Football Recap: Center Starts Season with Victory Against Jacksonville

Center had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down the Jacksonville Fightin' Indians 31-13. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Roughriders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Fightin' Indians are ranked 636th).

Although Jacksonville took the loss, they still got scores from Ben Bolten and Ja'Qualyn Holman.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Spring Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jacksonville, they will host Brownsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
