Middleton entered their tilt with Nampa on Thursday with 16 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 17. They blew past the Nampa Bulldogs, posting a 77-12 victory. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Bulldogs are ranked 136th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Elsie Wyatt was her usual excellent self, going 9 for 18 en route to 24 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Aysha Fried, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 14 points.

Middleton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in six consecutive matches.

Middleton's win bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Nampa, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
