Volleyball Game Preview: Shafter Generals vs. Immanuel Eagles + Official Tickets

Shafter is 0-3 against Immanuel since August of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Generals are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Shafter will be looking to extend their current 29-game winning streak.

Shafter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Kerman by a score of 3-1.

Shafter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17.

Shafter can attribute much of their success to Emily Pugh, who had nine digs.

Meanwhile, Immanuel got the win against Bakersfield on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-21.

Shafter's record is now 33-1. As for Immanuel, their record now sits at 20-16.

Shafter might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Immanuel in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
