Softball Recap: Northridge's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Northridge can bid farewell to their 17-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Grandview Heights Bobcats with a sharp 14-4 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vikings needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Mary Cate Spang was incredible, going 2-for-4 with six RBI. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Behn, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Northridge's record now sits at 5-19. As for Grandview Heights, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

As of now, neither Northridge nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
