The Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars will face off against the Rochester Prep Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rochester Prep took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Honeoye Falls-Lima, who comes in off a win.

Honeoye Falls-Lima is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Western New York Maritime Charter/Tapestry to the tune of 49-14 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Honeoye Falls-Lima's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brian Finn, who rushed for 117 yards and three scores while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Grady Goodberlet was another key pass catcher, picking up 90 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Honeoye Falls-Lima, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Goodberlet, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Rochester Prep came up short against Clyde-Savannah on Saturday and fell 20-8.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Rochester Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Honeoye Falls-Lima took their win against Rochester Prep when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 34-12 score. In that matchup, the Cougars amassed a halftime lead of 26-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
